ABSTRACT

Computer and internet security are becoming growing issues due to the prevalence of malicious characters using computer systems. This website is intended for academia and any individual with a particular interest in Computer Systems Security.

Its main focus is to brief users on the importance of security with regards to physical computer security and more recently network security, with the popularity of networking devices and the internet. The site will outline the main reasons for this need for security by giving an oversight on the different threats being posed to computer systems.

It is meant to be a starting point and is by no means a complete analysis of computer security. With that in mind, additional sites have been provided for further research which will help to substantiate and bring further clarification to the nature of this increasing problem.
