TH2000 will develop six living "house museums" as showcases of ethnic and cultural crafts and traditions preserving and celebrating the transmission of the older culture and as a stimulus to the new. Representing Tower Hamlets' principal cultural traditions - Bengali, Chinese, Cockney, Jewish, Somali and Afro-Caribbean. Shadinata Trust presents an interactive cultural evening, created for young people by young people. This event will raise awareness of how young Bengali People feel - their hopes, fears and aspirations - and their experiences of growing up in Britain. Asian Dub Foundation Education (ADFED) and artist Joyoti Grech will collaborate with young VJ's DJ's and performers to create an original performance event mixing spoken word with visuals and live sounds. A cross-artform cross-cultural club night with a difference. Young Persons' Forum & Discussion on Saturday 4 November 4:00-6:00pm, followed by Club night 8:00pm-2:00am.
