We have available to rent over the Christmas/New Year period for 1999/2000 a 2 bedroom (sleeps six) lakeside lodge close to the Lake District, Yorkshire Moors and Blackpool.

The detached lodge includes:

YOUR ACCOMMODATION Check in time is from 4pm - Check out is by l0am. The two bedroom lodge sleeps 6 and has a double bedroom, twin room and double sofa bed. It has a fully fitted kitchen with oven, 4 ring hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge with freezer compartment. It also has a sauna, overhead heating, wall heaters, satellite television, video, telephone and CD stereo.

ADDITIONAL USEFUL INFORMATION A refundable deposit is required and must be paid by credit card, and there is a charge for electricity. Cots & highchairs are available for a standard charge of £7 per item. No pets are allowed, with the exception of guide dogs, however you must make us aware prior to your travel.

YOUR RESORT FACILITIES The resort is self sufficient and boasts a bar, restaurant, shop and leisure centre with its indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and small gymnasium. Regular live entertainment is provided on site. Water sports such as water skiing, canoeing and sailing are available on the 70 acre lake. There are two tennis courts, a children's activity play areas and a small games area.

LOCAL SERVICES AND ATTRACTIONS The nearest town with bank, post office and supermarket is Carnforth - a five minute drive away. The resort is ideally situated at the gateway to the Lake District and makes the perfect base for touring northern England. Lake Windermere is little more than half an hour's drive away. The university City of Lancaster with its castle and Leisure Park is a short drive away. The Yorkshire Dales and the Pennines are within easy reach and an even shorter drive will take you to Morecambe, a seaside resort famous for its Frontier Land theme park with lots of rides that children will enjoy. Blackpool can be reached in under an hour - -visit the Pleasure Beach, Tower and seasonal illuminations. Grenada Studios in Manchester is just over an hour's drive away and historic York a scenic two hour drive.

HOW TO GET THERE

By Road: From the M6, take Junction 35, signposted Carnforth. Continue along the dual carriageway to the roundabout. Pine Lake Resort is located on the right. Once you have turned into the resort, turn right at the mini roundabout to find the reception building.

By Rail: Main line to Lancaster, then connect to Carnforth. Pine Lake is then a short taxi ride away.

By Air: Manchester Airport is 75 miles away by road. Follow the sign posted route to Preston via the M56 to the M6, then take the directions as stated above By Road.
