I have provided consultancy on various occasions as part of small, medium and large projects and for different types of companies. I am able to provide consultancy as an individual but I can also lead teams in larger projects. My areas of expertise include: software engineering, security engineering, information systems development, and web based applications.

I have experience and have led industrial projects and consultancy on the following general areas:

· System/Web Sites Usability Testing;

· Software System Development;

· Requirements Engineering;

· Business Analysis;

· Security Engineering.

Some recent examples of consultancy projects that I have been involved/led include:

· The analysis and design of a software system to support a learning environment that utilizes VoIP technology;

· The evaluation and redesign of the IT infrastructure of an SME;

· The development of software components of an educational web site;

· The analysis of a software system to support development of symbol-based learning material;

· The development of software tools to support security related subject teaching in higher education.

I have also experience in providing training sessions for individuals and groups in topics such as:

· An Introduction to UML

· Modelling Systems using UML

· Systems Requirements Using Use Cases

· Object Oriented System Analysis Using UML

· Modelling Security Requirements.
