Registration for this extended project is normally only agreed if the student 
selects and confirms the theme with teaching staff before the end of Year 2.

The project essay must be 8,000-10,000 words.  Work must be carried out
sequentially throughout two semesters.  Staff supervision will be maintained
throughout the two semesters.  Work in progress must be submitted to the
supervisor throughout the year on agreed dates. If such work is not
submitted as agreed, students may not be permitted to present the final
essay for assessment.
