The linguistic world

This page was made with the intention for you to find data and texts of other linguists (e.g. Steve Wojcik), and as a place to go so as to find other web sites of interest to the linguist.

There are many areas of Applied Linguistics / Sociolinguistics, and there is a font of information on many of these areas on the internet. If you have ever made a search entering the word LINGUISTICS then you will know of the varied results that can (and not) appear.
There are many resources to be found on the net, Italian newspapers,
NEWSPAPER
Hungarian EFL student writing (although this site will not be ready until a later date), for those of you who wish to do text analysis tools are available for collation of particular items of linguistic interest.

For those of you have not swum in the Corpus linguists arena there are courses which can be enroled in and accessed on the internet. These could be useful to show you the ropes, and perhaps you could build a corpus of your own language variety and submit on to the net for the use of other linguists.

I'm quite new to this internet lark so if you've got any suggestions on this web site please contact me with your tips or pointers via e-mail;
